A high-energy mix of laughter, swing music and amazing soap bubble manipulations ...from intricate shapes to humongous bubbles. Learn how bubble shapes form and the science of bubble bursting.

Adult Summer Reading Club


Looking to get credit for all those books you’re going to read on the beach? Feeling left out that the kids get to have all the summer reading fun? Just want a chance to win a prize?

Join the Upper Saddle River Library’s Adult Summer Reading club, which will run from June through August. Details are still being finalized, but rest assured there are prizes to be won and bragging rights to be claimed (and of course lots of reading enjoyment to be had by all). Registration is required.

On Your Mark,Get Set...Read!

Join our summer reading program and have fun all summer long! Summer reading programs for children in Pre-K–8th grade. Activities include group games, physical challenges, magic and illusions, science experiments, and more.

“On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” for students in grades 2–5, designed to encourage the joy of reading through activities, games, incentives and a summer full of special programs. Younger children ages 3 yrs.–1st grade can join in the fun too, with the Library’s “Read to Me” portion of the program.

“Get in the Game, READ” is just for teens in grades 6 and up.

Scroll down to MasterFile Elite, click on the title list. Enter Consumer Reports in the Browsing Bar. Find your title. Search the publication or view by year or issue.


Explore NoveList Plus
A Reader's Advisory for Fiction

With your Library card number (Patron ID) you can explore NoveList, a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. The NoveList database is reached through the EBSCO port which will ask for your library card number ( Patron ID).
