Author Hold

Place a reserve on your favorite author once and you will automatically be on the reserve list each time that author publishes a new book. You will be able to check the list of available authors and complete the request form and email to usdrref@bccls.org or print the form out and return it to the library.

Names will be placed on “Author Hold” as they are received. When an author announces a new publication, “Author Hold” patrons will be put on a reserve list. This process will enable the library to determine how many copies of a book should be purchased, allowing patrons to receive new, popular books in a timely manner.
