Recommended Books

A new service from the Upper Saddle River Library and BookLetters, offers book reviews and information on hundreds of authors, all easily accessible online. Readers can use the service either at home or at the library. To receive regular updates on books in special areas of interest, simply sign up for the Good Reads' email newsletter service. Reviews of recommended books in your favorite genres will be delivered right to your inbox.

BeAT® Classes - Learn How to Download Books and Music to your Computer or Portable Devices Let us walk you through the process of downloading books and media to your computer or portable devices.
Please bring your device and laptop, if available.

These classes are available to cardholders from libraries that participate in the BeATeaudio program.

Tech Help Hours For patrons who have questions or need help completing their digital downloads. BeAT® assistance is available on a drop-in basis on Tuesdays from 2:30–3:30 pm and Fridays from 11 am–12 pm.

The Collection: Many new titles for Adults, YA's and Children are added monthly. There are best sellers fiction and non fiction, Frommers travel books, biographies, self help books, etc. Authors represented include Steig Larsson, Isabel Allende, Elizabeth Gilbert, James Patterson, Scott Turow, and hundreds more.

A Reader's Advisory for Fiction

With your Library card number (Patron ID) you can explore NoveList, a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. The NoveList database is reached through the EBSCO port which will ask for your library card number ( Patron ID).
