Gardener to Landscape Designer
Tuesday • April 29 • 7pm
Join certified landscape designer, master gardener, horticulturist, artist and world traveler Arnie Friedman as he presents a historic view of garden design developed through his own professional experience and study. His PowerPoint presentation traces the roots of landscaping and garden design through time and variying philosophies. He will demonstrate a simple method of creating gardens using principles of traditional paintings.

Introduction to Birding and Birds of NJ

New Jersey hosts amazing concentrations of birdlife throughout the seasons. Join NJ Audubon's senior naturalist, Patrick Scheuer, for a look at why birdwatching is now the #2 outdoor pastime in the nation. Learn all the basics of birding— from identifying backyard birds to selecting binoculars and field guides..

e-Bay Beyond the Basics
Tuesday, May 6th at 7pm (this program was rescheduled from February 12th, due to bad weather.)
Limited seating, registration required. If you've been selling on eBay occasionally, and want to learn how to get the most out of your listings, this is the right seminar for you. Beyond the Basics students learn to start and/or grow an eBay-based business, choose the right listing format, create compelling listings with proper digital Photography, manage listings, use eBay listing tools, pack and ship inventory and market an eBay business. Taught by Certified eBay Business Specialists Marcia Cooper and Harvey Levine, this course also examines the benefits of an eBay store, how to pack and ship inventory and how to use online payments from PayPal. An eBay University course manual will be available for $20 per copy.

A new program at the Library. Drop in and visit with your friends and neighbors. Relax with your current needlework project and join in conversation with other stitchers. Whether it be knitting, quilting, needlepoint, embroidery, beading or crocheting, everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served. Come join us!
