Eileen has been a watercolor artist for over 35 years and has studied with Denise Collins, Ferd Petrie, Billie Samuelson and Paul Wood. She has taken workshops with several nationally recognized artists, including Serge Hollerbach and Charles Reid and has received awards from New Jersey Watercolor Society where she is a member. She has also been accepted into an American Watercolor Society juried show and Allied Artist of America, Inc., in NYC and continues to go to art classes.

Annual Art Exhibit - The Friends of the Library are planning the Annual Art Exhibit for our local artists during the month of May. Adults and children in Upper Saddle River are welcome to exhibit their work in any medium.

Your artwork will be displayed in the Library and The Friends will provide a grand opening for the artists and their guests. Please let us know if you are interested in exhibiting and your medium by March 30th, 2011. The USR Library Solarium gallery is open Mon.-Thurs. 10am-9pm, and Fri.-Sat. 10am-5pm.

Artsit Exhibit5th Annual Art Exhibit & Reception

The Friends of the Library are planning the annual exhibit for local artists during the month of May.
Exhibit ~ May 1st–May 24th

New in 2011, the adult and student exhibits are during the same month. Upper Saddle River adults and students, in grades K–12, are exhibiting their work in many mediums. The artwork is displayed throughout the library.

The Friends provided an reception for all artists and their guests on Sunday, May 1, 2–4 pm with refreshments and background music by harpist Joanne Hansen. The public was invited to join us for the opening reception and meet the wonderful artists living in our community.
