For years, writing guru Lisa Garrigues has been teaching women how to chronicle their experience of motherhood, whether they consider themselves writers or not. Now, with the publication of her book Writing Motherhood: Tapping into Your Creativity as a Mother and a Writer, mothers everywhere can learn to use writing as both a tool for recording their lives and a path to self-discovery.

The Upper Saddle River Directory has been a town tradition for 48 years. It’s our community phone directory containing handy resources for residents: important borough numbers, descriptions of organizations, a professional directory, a dining guide, and a foldout town map. It’s also the major fundraiser for the Friends of the Library.
Directories are currently on sale at the Library for $8.00. Buy one for your house and car! Please support our advertisers as they keep the price of the directory low and help the Friends raise money.
